Growing up in East Texas, Lady Bird Johnson fell in love with the natural beauty that surrounded her. Based on the popular children’s book Miss Lady Bird’s Wildflowers by Kathi Appelt, and illustrated by Joy Fisher Hein, we follow Lady Bird’s journey to the White House where she engages in the struggle for civil rights and the need to address environmental pollution. “Where flowers bloom, so does hope.”

Production: Pollyanna Theatre Company at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library
